Best service to use to build an online business website?

I am trying to build an online business. I would like an organized and stylish looking website with a well-functioned shopping cart tool. I will probably have around 30 products to start out with. I see that there are various websites out there like Volusion that sells webstore builder packages but I don’t know which one is the best & cost effective. If there’s anyone out here who has used these packages before, or if there’s anyone who can give me a good advice about other options, please leave me an answer. Thanks

The big question I have for you is how much experience you have in business up to this point. The problem with most website building tools is that they give you tools to build a website. Some of the more expensive ones even have enough tools to allow you to build a really flashy, ego-stroking website (but one that does a lousy job of positioning your site to sell your products).
I’ve worked with some of these expensive website-building tools and, while they help you build a pretty-looking site (after a lot of frustration with figuring out how to get it to do what you want it to do), they give you absolutely no help in building your website in a way that helps you make money with it. At least that was my experience with a site that I built for a client who had bought into one of these expensive web-site builders. You could add almost any of the bells and whistles that your could think of, but it did it in ways that actually hurt their ability to be found by the search engines and paid no attention to the elements that persuade visitors to buy.
That’s why I like SiteBuildIt. It’s a lot cheaper than most of the big name site-building tools, includes a lot of excellent training on how to build your site in a way that ensures that you make money with it, and gives you access to a whole community of business owners who are actually making money with their first website.
It’s shopping cart function does not come with the basic package. It’s an add-on. I haven’t used their shopping cart myself, so I can’t comment on its quality or cost, but I know that a lot of SiteBuildIt owners use it and are happy with it. I’ve used SiteBuildIt myself and consider it the best website-building package out there (and especially good for those starting a business online without having much experience running one offline).
